Downtown Victoria is as urban and metropolitan as Vancouver Island gets! Unlike the concrete and high-rise jungles of other larger cities, Downtown Victoria manages to offer the best of city life without sacrificing the tranquil appeal of Island living.
Representing the left portion of the City of Victoria and spanning an estimated 158-hectares. Victoria West is an eclectic community, nestled on a peninsula surrounded by water and connected to Victoria’s downtown core by two city bridges and the Selkirk Trestle.
Sidney is a seaside town and suburban district located at the northern point of the Saanich Peninsula, just before Swartz Bay where ferry services to Vancouver and other nearby islands are located.

Tucked away at the southernmost tip of Vancouver Island are the waterfront districts of Oak Bay and Gonzales. Attributed as two of Victoria’s most affluent neighbourhoods, the districts of Oak Bay and Gonzales date back to the mid-1800s and early 1900s.
Located between Downtown Victoria and Oak Bay is the community of Fairfield/Rockland. Amongst its treasures are several historical attractions and parks as well as Victoria’s beloved Cook Street Village.
Located less than 10 minutes from Downtown Victoria and surrounded by waterfront, Esquimalt offers a unique blend of history, nature, and convenience. It was used as a port by the Royal Canadian Navy in the 1880s and is still home to the Canadian Forces Base.
This vibrant neighbourhood is tucked between Rockland/Fairfield, Oak Bay, and Downtown, and is a walkable community with lots of attractions for residents and visitors alike.
Also referred to as the Western Communities, Westshore represents multiple suburban municipalities located at the South end of the Capital Region. View Royal is a suburban community that borders Westshore and shares close access to may of the same parks and amenities.
