The Port Sidney Marina is a full-service marina with 320 slips for long-term moorage, or if you are just looking to get out for a day trip, launch your boat and putter off through the Gulf to the San Juan Islands and Anacortes. If you don’t have your own boat, hop on the Sidney Spit ferry for a scenic 25-minute ride over to the largely untouched island for a day of exploring in the sand. The Blue Dog Kayaking and Sidney Whale Watching companies can also get you out on the water for those interested in adventuring via kayak or paddle board!
Sidney, BC is a town that is rich in arts and culture. The Sidney Street Market runs every Thursday in June through to the end of August, attracting visitors from all around to the festivities. Take in a concert at the bandshell, or walk along the water and admire all of the sculpture art. And this Monday, there is a massive sidewalk sale taking place on Beacon Ave!
