Downtown Victoria is known to be a hub for an array of local restaurants, appealing to all tastes, some of our favorites are: Jam Cafe, Il Terrazo, Pagliacci’s, Ebizo Sushi, 10 Acres Bistro, Phillips Tasting Room, The Village (new to Downtown Victoria at the end of 2018!), MoLe, and The Bard & Banker. There are SO many more to visit, you’re almost guaranteed to enjoy the food when you walk into a new restaurant Downtown!
There are still a ton of hidden gems including The Salt & Pepper Fox, with 2 convenient Downtown locations full of good food from scratch, plus delivery and grab & go options. Bao Restaurant is located in Victoria’s Historic Chinatown featuring many inspiring dishes, and is known for their ‘delicious pillowy bao’. Okay okay, enough about food, although Downtown Victoria is a food lover’s paradise, there is far more to offer!
There are ample shopping districts within Downtown, with plenty of amazing local shops & boutiques. Our most visited stores are Paboom Home Imports & Fan Tan Home & Style, at both stores you’ll find stylish and unique jewelry, home decor and accessories.
If you’re looking for an activity a little more ‘outside the box’, check out the Victoria Harbour Ferry Tours for a unique way to see the City. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can visit Crag X Indoor Climbing Centre (open year round, for all skill levels!).
